TX不如改合同,先做两年的,然后再签一年.

协议内容全文如下:哪里有写超两年的合同就不算了?简直是和我们在玩文字游戏!明明就是从第一次到爱以后两年内都免的!
TEACHERS AND RESEARCHERS
1. An individual who immediately before visiting a Contracting State, was a resident of the other Contracting State and who is present in the first-mentioned State for the purpose of teaching, giving lectures or conducting research at a university, college, school or other recognised educational or scientific research institution in the first-mentioned State shall be exempt from tax in the first-mentioned State for a period of two years from the date of his first arrival in that State in respect of remuneration from such teaching, lectures or research.
2. This Article shall not apply to income from research if such research is undertaken primarily for the private benefit of a specific person or persons.

我也觉得是文字游戏，解释权在他们。没有地方申诉呀！
不知有没有XDJM拿了三年合同，获得免税的，出来晒一晒！

你这是去哪里问的啊？我也是3年的contract，当时去了都柏林，很容易就办了呀，certificate已经寄到学校payroll了，这个月免税和返还上个月交的税。

晚上回来又研究了一下，post-doc的前两年绝对可以免税，你申请的这个免税的policy 叫PAYE Exclusion Order，这个在Revenue Office的一个特别的Operational Instruction里面有明确规定。PAYE Exclusion Order can be provided to researchers from certain tax treaty countries during a period of temporary residence not excedding two years. 这是当时工作人员打印给我的文件上规定的，你再去问问吧，祝好运了。

我在Cork，是South WestRegion的Revenue Office给我寄的信。看来有必要申诉一下！

我在LIMERICK,HR的人也是和我这么说的,三年合同免不了税的,现在在等Revenue Office消息,有最新情况会随时和大家交流!

今天Revenue Office的官员到UCC现场办公，与他面对面交流，他说对于中国人而言，三年的合同前两年可以免税，原来的决定错了，向我道歉。
他回去后就给我办免税，下个月应该可以退我的的税。
！

是Tax Exemption，不知道两者有什么区别。
