as far as i'm aware, i have not came across any secondary school which is particulary good. i found that being a student here , you need to be independent and self motivate.
according to the local culture, they believe forcing or chasing after you to do your home works are not the appropriate way for student to learn. if you do not make an effort, you will have to take your own consequences. and i can say most of the schools have both exceptional and ordinary students, equally.
instead of finding the right school, i would suggest you to understand the irish 2nd level education system prior making the decision to further your studies here at any secondary school. i would say it's quite different from China's.
if i am not mistaken,i heard that China's 2nd level education syestem has been recognised by irish education department, so if you do have good results and pass the english exams, you can apply to the university here straight after your secondary school in China?
